Even during the Month of Ramadaan, Even on the Night of Lailatul-Qadar and Even on the day of Arafat at the time of Hajj, Our Duaa is Not Working:

Here I would like to give an example of a boy who makes a lot of Duaas and is always very punctual for Salaat (Prayers) in the Masjid, but he never goes to school, never opens any book related to his course, nor takes the exams. Can he still pass the exams? Absolutely not; only making Duaa does not work. We need to get the true guidance from the Quraan, which tells us to be practical to get success in this world as well as in the hereafter.

Quraan is Book of Guidance:

This is the Scripture whereof there is no doubt, guidance unto those who ward off (evil). [Al_Quraan_002.002]
(To get Guidance you must have to read it with understanding)

Who can get Guidance from it (Only True Practical Momin)?

Who believe in the unseen, and establish worship, and spend of that We have bestowed upon them; [Al_Quraan_002.003]

And who believe in that which is revealed unto thee (Muhammad) and that which was revealed before thee, and are certain of the Hereafter. [Al_Quraan_002.004]

These depend on guidance from their Lord. These are the successful. [Al_Quraan_002.005]

And it is naught but a reminder to the nations. It is in fact a message to the (whole) world. (Al_Quraan_068.052)

In what Hadeeth (Quraan), then, after it, will they believe? (Al_Quraan_077.050)

Don’t forget to make Duaa, since Allah said to do so.

And your Lord says: Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayers). (Al_Quraan_040.060)
