Muslim Ummah is facing a Great Turbulence of Economic Downtime at present time along with other nations, since they failed to follow the Dos and Don’ts from the True Book of Guidance (Al_Quraan). As we have seen, many Muslims believe that by verbal believing they will be saved, BUT that type of believes never worked before, nor working at present time and will never work in future, since Islaam is a practical religion.

Remember: Allah Never Destroys any Good Nation (Ref: Al_Quraan_011.116-117).

It is time now to open our eyes and correct ourselves in the light of the Quraan, the Book of Guidance (Ref: Al_Quraan_002:002), which is really free from any contradiction and error (Al_Quraan_004:082) at present time. We must organize ourselves to face all the modern challenges for which educations is the key.

Education: Educate Muslim Ummah from the depth of your heart to please Allah:

First step to face all the challenges and improve Ummah’s economy is to educate yourself (men and women) as well your kids (boys and girls). In addition to reading the Quraan with understanding, study other professional studies. You may not do this alone. It is a Great Peaceful Jihaad and women also need to come forward, as they did at the time of Rasool Allah (Peace-Be-Upon-Him).

If a Female is well educated, she can take care her kids in a better way, and help them do their homework and if she knows driving as well, she can pickup and drop-off her kids. Females are after all Human beings and they may get sick, so some of them must be Good Doctors and Nurses. To teach Female Doctors and Nurses, some Females must be Good Teachers as well. In Brief you cannot have a well decent and educated society without educated Females. If Females are left behind then it will lead the society poor and backwards, what is happening in most parts of the Muslim World. If Women are left uneducated the whole race of Muslims may be left uneducated. Wherever Allah mentioned about education, it also includes Female’s education as well. Female is the principal part in a family’s success. To ask Allah for education, “RABBE – ZIDNEE – ILMAA” is for Female as well. At least, if Females are well educated enough, they can do good Dawah, while men are busy in their work.

Aisha bint Abu Bakr as Siddique (Radi-Allahu-Anha) was one of the greatest transmitters of Sunnah. She was a recognized expert in a number of fields. According to present time, we can say, she was holding several Ph.D. Degrees in many disciplines.

Possible Route Cause of Bad Economy among Muslim Families:

Marriage is neither a joke nor a play; instead it is only for the love of Allah and Sunnah of Rasool Allah (Peace-Be-Upon-Him). In our sweet home we may have been living along with parent, kids and spouse and may have other relatives as well. Islaam teaches LOVE with our parents, spouse kids and other relatives. We need to learn how to live all happily and united. Let us take an example of Husband and wife living with their kids and parents. We all have some needs.

1>   Need to educate our kids, so we must send them school, timing could be 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, which needs daily preparation for the school.

2>   Treat with the parents in a grateful manner, BUT if parents are very old then we cannot say even a single word of contempt. So who will look after parent while husband is at work?

3>    Need many other things for the spouse as well as for myself too.

4>    For all of these requirements we need money, for which we need to go and work sincerely.

If all of these requirements are to be done during the day, then how can a Husband go to work, look after parent and kids and do housekeeping as well and all at one time, like multitasking. E.g. 9:00 AM must be at the office, 9:00 AM must be at the school to drop the kids, 9:00 AM must be with the parents for the company and also 9:00 AM doing the entire house keeping. It simply means killing the Husband. If wife is intelligent enough then she can share all other tasks during the day time, while husband can concentrate on the work. Husband cannot concentrate on work if his mind is taken away. He will be like living in a torture cell in his own house.

For working women, husband MUST need to share the load from his wife. If they can afford they must go for alternate help, like child day care or other support, of course those will not be free and have to pay the price for each services required. Remember, Women are allowed to work, (Ref: Al_Quraan_004.032). Rasool Allah (Peace-Be-Upon-Him) was Fostered by respected Bibi Halima (Radi-Allahu-Anha), which was a sign of Modern Child Day Care.

Role of Masjids:

Masjid al-Nabawi in Madinah al-Munawarah, Saudi Arabia was a Role Model for all local Masjids, since Rasool Allah (Peace-Be-Upon-Him) used this as a Role Model to perform many duties including following:

1>    Trained Muslim Ummah which includes, children, adults (men and women). Trainings were superb in all disciplines including defense and proved that it was the best up-to-date institution in the whole world at the time of Rasool Allah (Peace-Be-Upon-Him).

2>    Established the best Judicial System in the whole world at the time of Rasool Allah (Peace-Be-Upon-Him).

3>    Established the best Community Centre to help the community.

Challenges are a lot from around the globe. Now it is time for all of us to open our eyes and return back and reflect on the message of Rasool Allah (Peace-Be-Upon-Him). Our Masjid must be fully equipped with the help of modern technologies to perform all activities which is according to the Quraan and Authentic Sunnah.

Convert all old Masjids by applying modern technologies wherever possible and which are in accordance to the Quraan and Authentic Hadeeth. Also, make sure to have separate special arrangements for women.

If building new Masjids, please ensure that it is taking true guidance from Rasool Allah (Peace-Be-Upon-Him) and applying all the modern technologies wherever possible and which are in accordance to the Quraan and Authentic Hadeeth. Also, make sure to have separate special arrangements for women.

Following are few guidelines for a Model Masjid where ever possible:

1>    Must have a Prayer Hall for regular five times of prayers for men and women.

2>    Must have Modern Islaamic Library for children and adults (men and women).

3>    Must have an institution (e.g. School, College and University) to train our kids and adults (men and women) to face all the modern challenges, which are according to Quraan and Authentic Sunnah.

4>    Must have convertible hall, to be used during Friday Prayers, Eid Prayers, Gym for exercises/marshals-arts, Islaamic Marriage Ceremony and Multi-Faith / Multi-Sect Friendly Dialogues etc.

5>    Must have Funeral Home.

Lessons from other communities in Canada:

It is my personnel observation, that in Canada, Chinese communities are doing very well. Husbands and wives both work extremely hard and their Grand Parents are helping their kids. Also Indian communities are performing very well, since both husbands and wives both work together.

Child Care Centers, a Great Example:

It is also my personnel observation, that in Canada, Child Care Centers are helping for those who don’t have Grand Parents to look after their kids or their Grand Parents are too old. We need to train our sisters who want to run Child Day Care Center, take lessons from respected Bibi Halima (Radi-Allahu-Anha).

Old House Centers, a Great Example:

It is also my personnel observation, that in Canada, Old House Centers are helping those seniors who don’t have proper arrangements to look after by their kids at home, since at very old age they need full time medical assistance, which may not be possible at home.

If possible, Group of Old Seniors needs to have good networking among them in their neighbor hoods to help each other along with helping their Grand Kids and save bourdon on United States of Islaam. This will be a Great Peaceful Jihaad.

Issues:

We need to note down all issues big or small and on case by case method to analyze it in detail and first start with all those issues which are creating great turbulence in Muslim Ummah Economy, keeping in mind how much is too much.

Two of major issues around the globe which are disturbing, are interest based system, alcohol, drugs, gambling and supply and demand system, on which special deep study is needed (Ref: Al_Quraan_002.278-279, 002.219).

Avoid loans and avoid waste as much as possible to help develop United States of Islaam (Ref: Al_Quraan_009.060, 025.063-067).

We also need help as much as we can to build the United States of Islaam for the better future of our kids, only then we can hope that our kids will have the fruits of it and will pray for us. Educate yourself and keep your knowledge up to date according to time, as much as possible without wasting a minute. If you have good knowledge then teach others or share with others for free if possible (Ref: Al_Quraan_096.001-005).

Duties of United States of Islaam:

True Islaamic Government must be ready to abandon any laws which might hurt economy of general public, in such a way which helps to move forward by forgiving and forgetting the past BUT taking lessons from the past. They must help their citizens to have up to date education with internationally recognized good high standards for free, which must have good parent-teacher relation through homework along with regular meetings after each semesters to discuss the progress. It must follow the basic rule to TAX the GREEDY not the NEEDY.

Repeatedly Relying on the Same Corrupted Person will NOT Change the Fortune of a Nation. Do not think to try to re-appoint those who were failed to protect the corruptions in the land.
