Halaal Meat

Surah-006   Al-Inaam

فَكُلُواْ مِمَّا ذُكِرَ اسْمُ اللّهِ عَلَيْهِ إِن كُنتُمْ بِآيَاتِهِ مُؤْمِنِينَ

Eat of that over which the name of Allah has been mentioned, if you are believers in His revelations, (Al_Quraan_006.118).

وَلاَ تَأْكُلُواْ مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّهُ لَفِسْقٌ وَإِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ لَيُوحُونَ إِلَى أَوْلِيَآئِهِمْ لِيُجَادِلُوكُمْ وَإِنْ أَطَعْتُمُوهُمْ إِنَّكُمْ لَمُشْرِكُونَ

And do NOT eat of that on which Allah's name has NOT been mentioned (including by-products), and that is most surely a transgression; and most surely the Shaitaans suggest to their friends that they should contend with you; and if you obey them, you shall most surely be polytheists, (Al_Quraan_006.121).

Surah-002   Al-Baqara

إنما حرم عليكم الميتة والدم ولحم الخنزير وما أهل به لغير الله فمن اضطر غير باغ ولا عاد فلا إثم عليه إن الله غفور رحيم

He has only forbidden you dead meat (including naturally dead Fish, not the one which you caught live and then they die and its by-products), and blood, and the flesh of swine (swine=pigs=pork=hams=gammon=bacon), and that on which any other name hath been invoked besides that of Allah. But if one is forced by necessity, without willful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits, - then is he guiltless. For Allah is Oft-forgiving Most Merciful, (Al_Quraan_002.173).

Science behind Halaal Meat:

To understand the Science behind the Halaal Meat, We need to understand the Medical Test. Doctor  generally asks first thing to go for Blood Test. Because  Blood caries Germs also, it mostly shows the first symptoms of Diseases. There are many dangerous diseases spread by Blood. In all other processes of Slaughter the blood does not comes out of the animal, so it could be very dangerous  to eat those un-hygienic meat. BUT with the process of Halaal, Blood comes out of the Animal Naturally. So it is not true that if the Slaughter is not according to Islaam, then just say Bismillah and eat it. Even in Surah-006 Al-Inaam, Ayaat 121, Allah very clearly warned NOT to eat on which Allah's name has not been proclaimed. So always be careful about Halaal and Haraam. Life is a gift from Allah to protect it and be healthy.

Drink Halaal, Eat Halaal, Talk Halaal, Listen Halaal, Wear Halaal. In Brief Adopt Halaal in your whole life.

Avoid following Ingredients:

Alcohol, Animal Fat (of forbidden animals including pork), Bacon (Pork), Beef (if not Zabiha/Halaal), Fat (Animal Fat of forbiddne animals including Pork), Gelatin {made from Pork or forbidden animals (bone and or skin)}, Ham (Pork), Lard (Pork), Lecithin (made from Pork or forbidden animals) (while Soya lecithin is Halaal), Rennet (Alcohol), Sausage (made from forbidden animals or pork), Shortening (made from forbidden animals or pork) and Monoglycerides or Mono and Diglycerides (made from pork or forbidden animals), (while Monoglyceride or Mono and Diglycerides made from Vegetable/Plant is Halaal).

Refrain from following E numbers:

E120 - Cochineal : a red colour obtained from female insects
E441 - Gelatine (animal hoof/skin)
E542 - Bone Phosphate
E904 - Shellac (insect origin)
E471 & E472 - Mono- and di-glycerides of fatty acids
E473 - contains fatty acids
E477 - contains fatty acids
E479(b) - contains fatty acids
E422 - Glycerol (Humectant, Solvent, Sweet Glycerin) - Sweetener - mostly originates from animals
E904 - Shellac : a resin from the lac insect.

No matter how much you process Forbidden Animals (e.g. Bacon/Ham/Lard/Pig/Pork/Swine etc.) it will NEVER become Halaal like Goat/Lamb, etc.

Make Sure Your Income is Halaal.
